Since joining Troon Golf in 2001, Ryan has worked at properties in both Arizona and Colorado. Ryan began his career with Troon Golf at Legend Trail Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. He then moved to Colorado to open Vista Ridge Golf Club just north of Denver, which is a master-planned community very similar to our own Merrill Ranch community. Ryan then returned to Scottsdale after being named the Head Golf Professional at The Westin Kierland Resort, Spa & Villas where he served for 3 and a half years before joining our team at Poston Butte Golf Club in 2008.
Prior to arriving at Poston Butte and joining Troon Golf, Jerry served as an Assistant Professional at JW Marriott's Camelback Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. While at Camelback, Jerry was a certified club fitter and instructor with John Jacobs Golf School. Jerry began his golf career in 1993 and worked at multiple courses in the Grand Junction and Denver area. In 2004, Jerry moved to Arizona to attend the San Diego Golf Academy while also working at Van's Golf Shops as a certified club fitter. In 2005, Jerry graduated from the SDGA with an Associate's Degree in Business Management and is currently working towards becoming a Class A Member of the Professional Golfer's Association of America.
A Troon associate since 2008, Jodi joined the Poston Butte team in November 2011. Jodi started her career with Troon Golf at The Ridge at Castle Pines North in Castle Rock, CO. While at The Ridge, Jodi served as the Golf Shop and Merchandise Manager at The Ridge while also assisting in ladies day events and corporate tournaments. For 6 years she served as President of the Highlands Ranch Ladies Golf Association and now adds her experience and skills in assisting our own Poston Butte Ladies Golf League.
With his arrival in November 2011, Poston Butte Golf Club marks Adam’s first position within the Troon Golf family. Prior to becoming part of the team, he has worked at several other distinguished facilities around the country including Hazeltine National in Minnesota, The Yellowstone Club in Montana, and SeaIsland in Georgia. Throughout his career he has taught alongside several of Golf Digest’s rated instructors including Jack Lumpkin, Todd Anderson, and Jim Flick. With over twenty years in the golf industry, seven years as a member of the PGA, and three years as a Certified Member in Golf Operations Adam brings a wealth of knowledge to our Club.
